NAME: spottedstar

CLAN: rainclan

RANK: leader

AGE: thirty-four moons

APPEARANCE: spottedstar is a brown spotted she-cat with extremely sparkly, enchanting blue eyes. her appearance is striking enough, her looking like a mini-leopard. she is slightly larger than average in stature for a she-cat, with long legs and a long lean body built for swimming. lastly, she has large paws that ground her and act as paddles for swimming.

PERSONALITY: this she-cat is one who knows how to quietly pull strings when she needs to and loudly defend and command when she should. she knows how to get what she wants in subtle ways, and often does not makes enemies, feeling herself a tinge above that. all this being said she often only speaks to well-ranked members of the clan, only venturing outside her circle when she must to rally the masses. this comes from her being an unpopular choice for deputy, and her knowing that a few cats would gladly do away with her.

HISTORY: spottedkit was born to a leafclan tom named vineheart and a rainclan she-cat named riversplash. she lived a happy life for quite some time, knowing nothing of her mixed heritage. this changed when she was apprenticed.

riversplash went back to warrior duties, and the queen and newly named spottedpaw attended a gathering together. there they were approached by vineheart. he was determined on claiming the young and already promising apprentice, mentored by the deputy at the time, spidershine, for leafclan. he had a group of warriors willing to stand by him.

angered, riversplash retaliated by convincing quetzelstar to allow some of her warriors to fight to keep her daughter in the clan. quetzalstar begrudgingly agreed to send four cats, including spidershine, and the two sides dueled for the spotted apprentice. rainclan ended up winning, and though her mother and her party came back scarred, no one from rainclan died. leafclan, however, had not been all that lucky. they had lost their deputy, shadowleg. though the honorable spidershine swore it had not been her intention to kill the tom, she stepped down as deputy because of her guilt.

spidershine still remained in rainclan to train spottedpaw and to preform warrior duties. eventually, spottedpaw passed her assessment with flying colors and was made spottedleopard.

the choice for the deputy that came after spidershine had been a poor one, for though the cat was wise, they were growing old as spidershine was by that time. the two cats retired on the same day and begged quetzelstar to allow the unpopular spottedleopard become deputy. of course, as her nature was, quetzalstar relented and it was made so.

not long afterwards quetzalstar lost her last life and spottedleopard became spottedstar.
