NAME: Geckostar

CLAN: Fernclan

RANK: Leader

AGE: 44 moons

APPEARANCE: Large, muscular tom and very intimidating. He has a light brown pelt with white spots giving him the look of a furry lizard from birds eye view. His teeth and claws are a lemon yellow and he often leaves his claws bared. He is 1 ft. 2 inches from nose to tail tip and his nose and the inside of his ears are a light cotton candy pink.

PERSONALITY: Geckostar is not really 'normal.' He is very aggressive for any creature and only his ambition outlives his lust for violence. He often is found muttering to himself about war and how to easily win it. He has very little faith in his ancestors thinking the dead can help him but not as much as he needs. However, he hold a very strong nationalist pride for Fernclan and resents cats that only want peace.

HISTORY:

Geckokit was born to Mistfur and Jaguarfang, two very different cats. his father wanted his only child to be strong and aggressive while Mistfur wanted Geckokit to be kind and tolerant. His mother died mysteriously, possibly by disease but there was no proof of this. Left with no other influences he gave into the ambitions of his father.

Jaguarfang watched proudly as Geckopaw was given to Slothstar herself as an apprentice. While Geckopaw wasn't training with the leader, Jaguarfang was giving secret tips to his son. Discovering trhe negative influences Jauarfang was setting upon her apprentice, Slothstar casted the young Geckopaw's father out of the clan. He trained for several more moons before passing his assessment with ease.

He was now Geckopelt and he kept his head high despite having a traitorous father. He often met his father in secret until Jaguarfang let his son in on a secret, he was planning to kill Slothstar and the deputy, Gingerfury. Just before he could report his own father the deputy came upon their meeting. An angered Jaguarfang killed Gingerfury on the spot. To make matters worse Jaguarfang attempted to kill his own son. Geckopelt fought back but he let Jaguarfang beeline for the camp where an unsuspecting Slothstar was walking in. Jaguarfang killed the leader before committing suicide in front of his son.

Shaken by the loss of his father and seeing three deaths in front of him, the hardened Geckostar was the first cat in the history of Fernclan to become leader without becoming deputy first. He wanted to bring his clan to greatness and he wants to do so at all costs. Even now, he is secretly plotting to control the whole jungle.
